THIS CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED.
I’ve been a fan of method since their very early days; a method advocate before they even started their “People Against Dirty” program!
In 2002, when Karim Rashid first started working with their bottle design, I read an article about method in How magazine - a design industry rag. Being a sucker for great design, I bought my first bottle of method (then called all-purpose) spray in the French Lavender scent.
I went home and cleaned my counters with it. It smelled lovely! I enjoyed cleaning with it so much that I found myself searching out other things to clean so I could keep on spraying. I wiped down my whole house and the inside of my car that night! I was hooked. The next day, I actually emailed method’s customer service and told them how in love I was with my bottle of Lavender spray. I corresponded with Sarah at method many times over the years (the original Sarah has since moved on, but a new Sarah has taken her place and is just as lovely!). I’ve been super impressed with method’s responsive, genuinely friendly customer service.
That’s the thing about method - they have created a company aesthetic that is incredibly compelling. When you use method, you’re not just scrubbing your toilet bowl - you’re joining a revolution that says clean doesn’t = toxic, and that fighting dirty should mean being pretty - pleasant scents, interesting bottle design, and a hip crowd of method advocates cheering you on behind the scenes.
Do you have to join the method movement to enter my giveaway? No, of course not. You can think it’s all very silly if you like. But I imagine that you’ll probably be quite pleased with the scent and quality of the Multi-Surface Cleaners, regardless. :)
up for grabs:
1 Pink Grapefruit - One of my favorite scents; light, fresh, non-lingering.
2 Ginger Yuzu - I’m on my second bottle of this scent. It’s kind of spicy without being Christmas-y.
1 Naked - No dyes or perfumes in this one. Great if you are super sensitive or don’t want your cleaner to interfere with other scents around the house.
1 Cucumber - Definitely smells green and clean.
1 Sea Mineral - Not my favorite; smells too much like men’s cologne or deodorant to me! Some people love it, though.
2 French Lavender - A classic. The scent lingers without getting stale.
This contest is now closed. Thanks for playing!
